On May 23, 2024, the German Chamber of Commerce in China | North China has successfully held its Annual General Meeting and the Board Elections in which the Annual Report as well as the Financial Report 2023 were presented and the Board of Directors 2024-2026 has been elected and announced.

Starke Managing Counsel Daniel Albrecht was elected as new board member.

On October 26th, 2023, the 2023 Zibo-Germany Exchange and Cooperation Fair “Meet You in Zibo” took place in Zibo (Shandong Province). Around 150 invited guests took part in the event. On October 20, 2023, together with the Shunyi district, the German Industrial Park based there and the Association for the Promotion of German-Chinese Technology and Cultural Exchange (i.E.), we organized the first German-Chinese soccer tournament in Beijing (Shunyi). It was a pleasure to open the event with the Shunyi District Mayor at Shunyi Olympic Water Park. Four teams took part including: from Viessmann and Mercedes. A successful tournament with great teams and lots of fun to promote German-Chinese friendship. We will now hold the tournament at regular intervals...
