This year the German National Day celebration was hosted under a special topic, 35 years of the German reunion. Speeches from German and Chinese sides were straight, but also dominated by respect and friendship. On October 20, 2023, together with the Shunyi district, the German Industrial Park based there and the Association for the Promotion of German-Chinese Technology and Cultural Exchange (i.E.), we organized the first German-Chinese soccer tournament in Beijing (Shunyi). It was a pleasure to open the event with the Shunyi District Mayor at Shunyi Olympic Water Park. Four teams took part including: from Viessmann and Mercedes.
