The German minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Ms. Katherina Reiche visited Beijing today. She lead a big business delegation. It was a pleasure for Starke Managing Counsel Daniel Albrecht to meet her during a reception in the German embassy and to have a small exchange with her. The German business community is looking forward to more intensive dialogues between Germany and China in the future. In challenging times a good cooperation between our countries is more necessary than ever.

This year the German National Day celebration was hosted under a special topic, 35 years of the German reunion. Speeches from German and Chinese sides were straight, but also dominated by respect and friendship. The German Business Community is greatful to our ambassador Dr. Flor and her team for their support and this remarkable event.

Against the backdrop of this anniversary, an impressive dance and music performance was presented, combining German and Chinese elements. Ambassador Dr. Flor delivered a moving speech that spanned the arc from German history to current global crises.

Approximately 200 guests, mostly diplomatic, attended the reception, including Starke Managing Counsel Daniel Albrecht .

At September 19th we celebrated the German National Day at the German embassy. Our ambassador gave a impressive speech with several historical side notes.

Guest of honor was Chinese Vive Foreign Minister Deng Li. To sent him was a great sign of the Chinese government to show us how important the Chinese German friendship is.
