The amended Chinese copyright law

On November 11, 2020, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the PRC passed amendments to China's Copyright Law. The amended Chinese Copyright Law comes into effect on June 1, 2021. The key points include an increase in statutory damages and an increase in fines for copyright infringement.
