It was a great pleasure to host Henriette Reker, Mayor of the City of Cologne, and her delegation in Beijing. Henriette Reker addressed members of the German Chamber of Commerce in China | North China during her lively and informative welcome speech. A sister city of China’s capital since 1987, Cologne shares an established partnership with Beijing.
Beyond exchanging with Henriette Reker and her delegation, participants had a chance to hear from Hubertus Troska, Chairman of the German Chamber of Commerce in China – North China, Dr. Thomas Weithöner, Head of the Economic Department of the German Embassy Beijing, and Juergen Model, CEO of Siemens Mobility Greater China.
Another highlight of the event was a panel discussion about “Going Green in China - New Challenges or Competitive Edge?” moderated by Dr. Constanze Wang, Head of Government Affairs and Advocacy at AHK Greater China.
