At September 19th we celebrated the German National Day at the German embassy. Our ambassador gave a impressive speech with several historical side notes.

Guest of honor was Chinese Vive Foreign Minister Deng Li. To sent him was a great sign of the Chinese government to show us how important the Chinese German friendship is.

It was a great pleasure to host Henriette Reker, Mayor of the City of Cologne, and her delegation in Beijing. Henriette Reker addressed members of the German Chamber of Commerce in China | North China during her lively and informative welcome speech. A sister city of China’s capital since 1987, Cologne shares an established partnership with Beijing.

Starke Managing Counsel Daniel Albrecht had the pleasure to give the opening speech the German Beerfestival at the Paulaner in Tianjin, in behalf of the German Chamber of Commerce North China.

The Beefestival is the biggest anual event of the GCC North China in Tinjin. About 240 members and guests participated at the event, hosted at August 16th, 2024. It was a great success with a vibrant atmosphere and entertainment.

Special guest was the head of the economic department of the German Embassy Dr. Thomas Weithoener.

It was a great pleasure to support the German Charity Christmas Bazar with our coffee sales again.

Continually since 2016 Rotary and us volunteer for the community at the bazar.

Many companies and organization do the same, like our friends and clients from Hörmann.

On October 26th, 2023, the 2023 Zibo-Germany Exchange and Cooperation Fair “Meet You in Zibo” took place in Zibo (Shandong Province). Around 150 invited guests took part in the event. For more than 20 years, the German Charity Christmas Bazaar has traditionally taken place in the pre-Christmas period on the grounds of the German Embassy in Beijing. There, people from a wide variety of nations and cultures have the opportunity to get in the mood for Christmas with German treats and the purchase of handmade gifts. The proceeds will be used to support aid projects in and around Beijing. These projects take care of children, parents and families, sick and disadvantaged people as well as people with a disability.

The World IP Forum took place at Hotel The Landmark, Bangkok in Thailand from 10th October to 12th October 2022. The theme for the conference was 'Technology & Innovation Shaping the Future of IP'.
