On November 7th 2018 our managing counsel Daniel Albrecht delivered successfully a keynote speech about Trademark registration in Austria and Germany at the Guangdong Intellectual Property Trade Expo 2018. We are happy that the audience of about 200 IP professionals and government officials from the Greater Bay Area were so interesting in this topic. Under the approval of Guangdong provincial committee and government, the first Guangdong Intellectual Property Trade Expo was hosted in Guangzhou from August 31 to September 1st, 2017 to create a national exchange center of intellectual property and promote Guangdong to build it a powerful province of leading intellectual property. With the combination of trade display of intellectual property achievements, Pearl River Forum and international cooperation, GDIP EXPO serves a two-way channel of constructing the supply side of intellectual property, and a large platform for international exchange with the core of intellectual property operation.
2018 GDIP EXPO focused on six themes to solicit 300 booths, hold “1+6”thematic forums and “4+N”special events, and further construct a platform for patent technology of intellectual property, unique brand, hot topics, global market, capital finance, and high-level talents.
